Preston Toushin
Preston Toushin, 36, is the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of White Swallow Books — an independent publishing house specializing in contemporary and experimental erotic literature.
Preston, proudly heterosexual, studied comparative literature and queer theory at a small liberal arts college before interning at an indie publishing house. Bored by the constraints of mainstream erotica and frustrated with the sanitized market, he started White Swallow Books out of his Brooklyn apartment.
He specializes in finding raw, poetic, often taboo voices from the margins and polishing them to brilliance. He admits to sleeping with too many authors and regretting it just enough.
